American white oak ex-bourbon casks and Amosoro oloroso casks are expertly brought together to create intriguing and distinguished flavours. Stored and matured in our dunnage warehouse no. 4, the dark and damp conditions allowed this whisky to thrive. Beginning its life in an American white oak ex-bourbon cask, the spirit developed its character over 17 long years before being transferred into Amoroso oloroso sherry butts for its final flourish. It stayed there for a further three years teasing out intriguing flavours such as coconut, maple syrup and tangy liquorice.

Nose : Roasted hazelnuts, rich Colombian coffee and fresh dates with whispers of Cuban cigars, followed by a wave of hot mulled wine, damson, dark chocolate, sweet raisins and black toffee.

Appearance : Reflets dorés et ambrés

Palate : Muscovado, Demerara sugar, crushed almonds and over ripe pineapple, with a faint sprinkling of coconut, maple syrup, tangerines and tangy liquorice.
