Aging in ex-first fill bourbon casks adds delicious vanilla and honey notes to an already inherently rich and fruity whisky. This sweet, malty expression is a wonderful expression of the distillery's character.
Nose : Pleasing and vanilla. Totally regressive vanilla cream note and hint of malt.
Palate : Fruity and round. Raisins, caramelized figs and delicate vanilla.
Overall : Soft and toasted. Nice expression of toasted wood with a touch of honey.
