COPERIES Single Malt

COPERIES is a French single malt whisky from a single distillery.

Its elaboration is the fruit of the centuries-old know-how for the production of the most prestigious wine brandy. First of all the distillation, in double pass, in copper stills from Charente, which gives round and elegant malt spirits. Then the aging in French oak barrels, with a balance between new and old barrels, for subtle spicy notes and silky tannins. The result is a floral, fruity whisky of unparalleled finesse.

COPERIES is a very old word which, in old Charentais patois, means "harvest". This refers to its French identity, but also to its specific Charentais roots. The barley from which it is made is grown, malted and brewed in France, before being distilled and aged at the Distillerie Merlet & Fils.
