Double-distilled, this Calvados, made 100% from Pays d’Auge apples, is aged for a minimum of 5 years in new casks, followed by an additional 4 to 5 years in older barrels. Benefiting from a wide range of vessels (cider, Calvados, port, sherry casks…), the VSOP blend offers an incomparable array and richness of aromas. It opens with notes of ripe apples mixed with soft spices, vanilla, and cinnamon. The palate is smooth, harmonious, and perfectly rounded. This “dame-jeanne” format allows for an original and authentic presentation to enhance the VSOP.

Nose : Seductive and fresh. Precise on notes of sweet cider, baked apple, gingerbread. It opens up to more vegetal and floral notes, becoming fruitier with citrus and prune. Hints of almond liqueur and beeswax.

Palate : Ample and non-aggressive. The woodier presence structures and channels the fruity notes from the nose. Soft spices appear mid-palate. Beautiful balance.

Overall : Harmonious, with no hint of bitterness or astringency. It lingers on fruit, especially apple. A medicinal note, with clove and arnica.
