CHARTREUSE Jaune

Chartreuse Jaune is characterized by its sweetness, its spicy fragrances and its natural color coming from 130 plants, flowers, barks, roots and spices.
Its elaboration is significantly different from the Green Chartreuse and requires several weeks of work in various stages:
- Milling elaborated by the monks in the plant room at the Grande Chartreuse monastery.
- Distillation to obtain the aroma.
- Different types of macerations that allow the extraction of the active principles of the plants and give the liqueur its natural color.
It is then aged for a long time in oak casks before being bottled, and continues to evolve and develop its complexity in the bottle.
