The Caroni Employees collection pays tribute to the former staff of Caroni, the legendary Caribbean distillery founded in 1918 and closed in 2002. The fifth version introduces three new Caroni protagonists. This version is named after Dhanraj 'Dan' Maharaj, who worked at the Caroni distillery for 22 years. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2021, this Caroni is a blend of four casks aged entirely in Trinidad, until the rum is put into a stainless steel vat in October 2019. Bottled at cask strength, the angels' share exceeded 85% during the ageing process.
