Built in 1881 at the height of the Scotch whisky boom, Bunnahabhain is located in the north-east of Islay. Its distilling room houses two magnificent pear-shaped stills from which it produces a heavy spirit that is generally not very peaty.

Nose : Rich orange oil infused with freshly cut grass and green apple. Salty lemons develop, accompanied by grapefruit and mature oak.
Palate : Pineapple and citrus combine with coconut. Roasted peanuts and sweet white chocolate give way to a subtle herbal touch.
Overall : A full, long finish with lingering spices and lemon peel.
