To make The Sixteen, Benriach's distillate is aged for at least sixteen years in ex-bourbon, sherry and new oak casks. The three whiskies are then carefully blended to create a rich, balanced malt with notes of stone fruit, creamy hazelnut and spice, with aromas of wild honey and candied bark. Full triple maturation adds texture, depth and complexity to this exceptional single malt, which showcases Rachel Barrie's mastery of the art of blending and celebrates her 30th year in the world of Scotch whiskies.
