BALLECHIN # 3 Port Matured Signatory Vintage

Produced at the Edradour distillery since the early 2000s, Ballechin was, for just over a century, one of the fifteen distilleries operating in the Pitlochry area, from 1810 to 1927. Then a consultant and master distiller for Edradour, Laphroaig's former manager, Iain Henderson, made a number of adjustments to the former, including the introduction of peat, in order to produce a second peated malt named Ballechin.Launched in 2006 as part of the Discovery Series range, a limited series finished in various types of cask, Ballechin has since celebrated its 10th anniversary and continues to add to its collection of single casks to respond to consumer demand.
