Liberté is the name that has come to describe this blend of eaux-de-vie produced during and at the end of the Second World War, when cries of joy resounded throughout France. To celebrate its 115th anniversary, Maison Bache-Gabrielsen has created Liberté.
This limited-edition cognac is an exclusive blend of two Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie dating from 1944 and 1945.
Each has spent over 70 years in oak barrels to reveal delicate, harmonious aromas of muscat grapes, rose and orange zest.
The palate offers notes of coffee, roasted almonds and licorice, refreshed by a hint of eucalyptus.

Nose : Elegant and fruity. Muscat grapes, rose, bitter orange marmalade.

Appearance : Ambré

Palate : Rich and silky. Coffee, toasted almond, licorice.

Overall : Long and complex. Refreshed by a note of eucalyptus, the long finish and silky texture make this a wonderful cognac, reserved for rare occasions.
