Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is its founder. His philosophy is quality, fun and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side is reflected both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings, which feature the sponge character in a variety of ways.
These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as the Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium and NAS. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge and WineSponge.

Nose : Intense and complex, combining candied black fruit, fig, elegant rancio and notes of noble wood with a hint of tangy freshness.
Palate : Velvety and balanced, combining caramel sweetness, macerated fruit, gingerbread and a depth of rancio.
Overall : Long and persistent, with flavors of dried fruit, dark chocolate and waxed wood, with a touch of acidity and noble bitterness.
