Lewis HAMILTON, seven-time F1 world champion, wanted to develop an Agave-based non-alcoholic beverage, using Mexican Blue Agave from Jalisco. He teamed up with master distiller Ivan Saldana to explore new territories beyond alcohol content. Almave redefines the non-alcoholic beverage category as a non-alcoholic spirit made from the coveted blue agave plant, using the same traditional process as tequila to press and cook the agave. First, agave piñas are harvested, cooked and ground. More importantly, Almave skips the fermentation stage, during which the liquid becomes alcohol. Multiple distillation concentrates and captures the complexity, delicate aromas and flavours of the agave.
