Taisetsu Single Malt, or « Heavy Snow », is the tenth whisky in the «24 seasons series» from the Japanese distillery Akkeshi located in northern Japan.

“Taisetsu” is the season during which the plains as well as the mountains become covered in a blanket of snow and the days become shorter.The fruits of nandina (heavenly bamboo) turn red, the people start to catch yellowtail fish, and the bears start to hibernate. Trees have shed all their leaves, and soon, the heavy winter chill is upon us.
