SINGLETON 18 ans Of Dufftown

Nose : Smooth, generous, both dry and autumnal. It develops in two parts: first with a fruit compote of apricots and very ripe apples. Then hazelnuts and toasted walnuts make a dramatic appearance, underscored by a subtle woody fragrance (dried tea leaves, pine resin). The fruit becomes softer, revealing rich vanilla, toffee and chocolate.

Palate : Firm and satiating, hazelnut, toffee and mint gently line the palate before fruit emerges with rhubarb and apple juice in particular. The fruit becomes darker, playing the role of a canvas.

Overall : Long, creamy and warm, with a stewed fruit freshness in the background. We can also pick out some spicy wood smoke and a hint of black pepper.
