Distilled in 2009, this Linkwood was aged for 15 years in oloroso sherry before being bottled at its natural 55.60% strength. This long, full-bodied Speyside single malt opens with notes of candied cherries, leather and ginger.
The Linkwood distillery, founded in 1821 in Scotland's Speyside region, is renowned for its refined, elegant whiskies. Although mainly used to produce single malts for blends, its single malt expressions have gained in popularity in recent years. Linkwood is distinguished by its balanced profiles, with floral, fruity and malty notes, often characterized by great finesse and subtle sweetness. These whiskies are appreciated for their complexity and ability to age well.
