This 1980s blend is the flagship blend of the house of the same name, owner of the Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie distilleries, still in the hands of the same family since its creation. At the end of the 19th century, the Pattison company was responsible for making the Grant family's blends. This company went bankrupt in 1898 following a financial crash in the whisky world, so the Grants decided to produce their own blend, which they named 'Stand Fast', the motto of their clan. It would later be called Grant's, a brand name that whisky lovers know the world over.
