This Clynelish, distilled in 1972, was aged for 50 years in hogshead casks before being bottled at its natural strength of 58%. This Speyside single malt reveals a powerful, spicy profile with aromas of stewed fruit, aniseed and honey.


Located in the northern Highlands and rebuilt in 1967 on its original site, Clynelish has since produced a fresh, fruity malt, the bulk of which is used for Johnnie Walker blends.

The "Private Collection" range brings together a collection of exceptional single malts in terms of age and quality, personally selected by members of the Urquhart family. Crafted from unique casks and shaped by time, they are a tribute to the distilleries, whether famous, discreet or closed.
