To celebrate 100 years of Caroni (1918 - 2018), we have produced a 2000 vintage, 90° Proof at 51.4°. This exceptional new product is an exact replica of one of the only Caroni releases in Europe during the 1940s when the distillery was owned by Tate & Lyle. Made from a 100% blend aged in Trinidad, this Caroni once again displays the distillery's characteristic oil notes, as well as a rich aromatic palette that takes us on a journey through fruit (ripe banana, dried apricot, redcurrant, exotic fruit, etc.), wood (honey, vanilla, etc.) and spices (camphor, cloves, cinnamon, fresh tobacco, etc.). Here we have an iconic Caroni to celebrate 100 years of exception! Can't wait for the rest!
