BENRIACH 2010 PX Finish Berry Bros. & Rudd

From the north of Scotland to the south coast of England, Spring Release 2023 from independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd showcases the wealth and breadth of distilling talent to be found on British shores.
This vibrant Speysider has spent the last two years of its life in a former Pedro Ximénez sweet cask, giving it a nose carrying gingerbread, cloves and licorice. A little water brings out notes of juicy pear and a touch of unripe mango. The palate is a little dry at full strength, offering ginger, pepper and sweet plum wine. A little time and dilution reveal a more complex whisky, with layers of fruit, spice and a touch of oak.
