Signatory Vintage unveils a new series, ‘Symington's Choice’, showcasing the most exceptional casks from the Pitlochry cellars. This series is an opportunity for Andrew Symintgons to reaffirm the mastery of selection, maturation and richness of Pitlochry casks.
Ardbeg is an iconic distillery on the island of Islay, Scotland, founded in 1815. Known for producing some of the most peated whiskies in the world, Ardbeg is distinguished by its rich, complex aromas, often marked by notes of smoke, chocolate and spice. The distillery has closed and re-opened several times, but since its acquisition by Glenmorangie plc in 1997, it has flourished and won many prestigious awards, cementing its reputation among whisky lovers. Ardbeg uses mainly bourbon casks for ageing, while occasionally experimenting with sherry casks to enrich its expressions.
