Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is produced from the distillery's finest and most complex Kentucky Bourbon casks which have then been finished in XO Cognac casks. Each cask of Cognac has been carefully selected by Chris Morris, the distillery's Master Distiller. The result is a whiskey with complex fruit notes, subtle spice and a creamy finish. This exceptional whiskey is presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter.
Nose : Rich toasted oak sprinkled with chocolate and cocoa notes, creamy vanilla bean and hints of clove and cinnamon spice cover a deep layer of dried fruit and citrus peel.
Palate : Elegant top layers of vanilla, dark chocolate, dried fruit and creamy caramel, rich malt and oak.
Overall : Velvety with a long note of delicately spiced mocha caramel.
