Highly anticipated, Waterford Argot is both a continuation of and a break with the distillery's respective releases since Spring 2020.

Continuity first of all, because this product respects the key, revolutionary principles of the Waterford concept, as defined by the iconoclast Mark Reynier: choice of barley above all else, elite production methods, total traceability, absolute transparency with the TEIREOIR Code on the back of the bottle...

But Argot is also a rebel, a enfant terrible, once again demonstrating Waterford's creativity and the ability of its teams to constantly reinvent themselves. The French name Argot was not chosen by chance, as it refers to an underground language once reserved for bohemians and renegades, for the initiated only.

Inspired by the great châteaux of Bordeaux, Argot is Waterford's 'second wine', the little brother of The Cuvée 'grand vin'. Accessible at 47%, it retains all the aromatic complexity typical of Waterford single malts, with a hint of peat to add an extra sparkle.

Waterford Argot is a vibrant, enthusiastic cuvée, presented without a case and combining several farm origins, marked by the blending of 4 types of top-quality casks.

Giving pride of place to notes of gourmet fruit and spicy aromas, it also offers the malty character typical of the distillery's whiskies.

Already a benchmark, for the first time in its history, this whisky is a must.
