Nose : Rich and invigorating. With aromas of aniseed, herbs, lemon and vanilla, the first nose shows exceptional freshness. Allowed to breathe, more exotic (pineapple) notes with pepper and liquorice fragrances form a deeply eloquent second sequence.

Appearance : Or vert.

Palate : Lively, full-bodied. The infused attack (sage, vervain) also displays menthol notes. On the mid-palate, the flavour palette gains intense energy with the appearance of new citrus fruits (grapefruit, orange) that create an unmistakable echo to the first nose.

Overall : Long, creamy. Initially, the finish is reminiscent of chewing on a stick of liquorice. The particularly juicy after-taste is also deliciously fruity (William’s pear, Rennet apple), before finishing on nobly spiced (saffron) and malty notes.
