Tito's story is one of the founding myths of American self-made men. The fairytale began in 1995 when Tito Beveridge decided to start making vodka. His idea? To adapt the concept of artisanal wine making to spirits. Investing his life savings, he built his distillery in Austin, Texas and obtained one of the very first distilling licences issued in Texas. After blind-tasting hundreds of vodkas, his choice of raw material fell on corn, a cereal typical of the Americas. The result was TITO'S vodka, the first artisanal corn-based vodka to be distilled 6 times in a Charentais still and filtered with charcoal. It's now the number one vodka in the USA, acclaimed by the world's top bartenders.
