In August 2023, Claire and François Rychlewski inaugurated the Distillerie du Morbihan in Plescop and unveiled their Gin 56. Less than a year later, their London dry gin, inspired by the Gulf of Morbihan, earned a prestigious bronze medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London. Their creation, crafted with a recipe that combines
nine carefully selected botanicals and spices, is distilled from a base of neutral French wheat alcohol in a Holstein still. With its rounded profile and refreshing character, this Breton gin is as enjoyable in a Gin & Tonic at aperitif hour as it is neat over ice as a digestif.
