When the production and sale of alcohol were banned during Prohibition in 1920, several residents of a small village in Iowa with 350 inhabitants decided to become outlaws and produce a high-quality whiskey called Templeton Rye. Templeton Rye's growing popularity is attracting connoisseurs and the whiskey is known as "The Good Stuff". Distilled from 95% rye and 5% malted barley, it is aged to perfection in new burnt American oak casks for a minimum of 4 years, then bottled at 40%.
