SIRDAVIS Rye Whisky

SirDavis is a tribute to Davis Hogue, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter's great-grandfather, a farmer and whisky smuggler in the American South during his lifetime.
Four generations later, this legacy is taking shape.
To orchestrate this creation, Moët Hennessy called on Dr. Bill Lumsden, an award-winning master distiller respected in the spirits world for his work on the Glenmorangie and Ardbeg Scotch whisky brands.Dr. Bill Lumsden carefully selected the grain blend serving as the base for the liquid: 51% rye and 49% malted barley, a rare offering in the world of American whisky. He then combined traditional whisky-making techniques to create SirDavis. An elegantly textured whisky with a mouthfeel reminiscent of Japanese and Scotch whiskies, which nonetheless retains the robust, deep flavors typical of American rye.
