The Pampelle aperitif is distilled in Cognac from Corsican fruit. The Star Ruby grapefruit variety was chosen for its intense colour and delicious flavour. These certified organic fruits are considered to be one of the most difficult varieties to cultivate. After the fruit has been macerated, some of it is distilled in copper stills to enhance the natural citrus flavours. To these are added other quality citrus peels from around the world: yuzu from Japan, citron from France and bigarade from Haiti. The batches are then blended with quinine peel, gentian root bitters, and our signature brandy.
