M is the iconic result of an unprecedented collaboration between three masters of their craft who shared the same unique goal: to create the world's most sophisticated whisky in an exquisitely designed crystal decanter. The M, a design masterpiece, was conceived by legendary art director and designer Fabien Baron, and then brought to life in the hands of Lalique's crystal masters, before finding its true raison d'être at The Macallan.
Crafted from the finest crystal, each hand-blown M decanter combines tradition with originality, drawing on over 150 years of Lalique experience and dedication in its refinement and perfect clarity. Its six remarkable facets are Fabien Baron's tribute to the Six Pillars of The Macallan. Our deep-rooted heritage is thus reflected at the heart of the decanter's design philosophy and the whisky's vibrant natural colour. Drawn from some of the richest and rarest casks to age in the distillery, this is a complex and intense whisky. Displaying a dense rosewood colour given by the sherry-soaked Spanish oak casks that nurtured this special whisky during its maturation process, M offers a complexity and sumptuous intensity rarely found in a single malt.
