Nose : Rich, concentrated. Revealing a black and oily peat, the first nose is saturated with intense smoke and imbued with extreme finesse. The complex palette of aromas takes on fruity (pineapple, pear, apple) and spicy (cinnamon, ginger) tones.

Appearance : Or pâle.

Palate : Delicate, nuanced. Full of sunshine, the attack is fruity (pear), smoky, resinous (pine) and earthy. The mid-palate takes us to a malting floor, with grains of barley literally rolling across the tongue. Menthol arrives at the very end of the palate.

Overall : Long, creamy. Extremely sweet barley sugar spreads across the palate. The milky after-taste (agave, almond) allows a glimpse of now-dry, iodine (sea spray) and salty peat. Lime flavours bring freshness to the finish.
