GIFFARD Banane du Bresil

A liqueur made from the maceration of bananas from Brazil and Latin America, with natural banana aromas and a hint of Cognac. A hint of oak-aged cognac is added to the final product to enhance this almost "flambé" taste.
Banana cultivation dates back 12,000 years and is an important part of history. The banana plant is considered to be the first plant cultivated by man for food purposes. The banana originated in Asia and spread to Africa and all tropical regions of the world. It was already eaten by the Indians before the Portuguese arrived in Brazil in 1500.
