Nose : rich, heady. Medicinal (balsam), spicy (Cayenne) and empyreumatic (incense, rosewood), the aromatic palette is constantly expanding. On aeration, orange zest, apple wedges and vanilla pods harmonize wonderfully, giving the olfactory space a noble quality.
Appearance : cuivre orangé.
Palate : both lively and soothing. Its racy palette reveals interwoven flavors of lemon and vanilla. With a pleasant root bitterness (ginger), it gradually becomes floral (lilac) and honeyed (lavender).
Overall : long, well-balanced. In the mouth, nutty fruits (chestnut, walnut) appear. This autumnal evolution is accentuated when dried fruits (fig, date) take center stage. On aeration, the empty glass becomes cocoa-like and balsamic (vinegar, cedar).
