BUMBU Rum XO

Bumbu XO, a rich and complex handcrafted Rum, created to order and designed as a work of art. Bumbu XO is a blend of different maturities up to 15 years, all aged in American bourbon barrels. A finish in Spanish sherry casks, made from white oak trees grown in the Andalusian region, enhances this exceptional product. Distilled and aged in Panama in an ancestral distillery dating from 1890, the still we use dates from 1912. Our sugar cane is locally produced, carefully selected from the best producers in Panama by the master distiller.
A unique product that is already a must-have. Like the original version, BUMBU XO owes its name to a 400 year old rum "Bumbu" made by sailors and merchants in the West Indies dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. BUMBU XO marks the next chapter in the reconstruction of this authentic Caribbean legend. An ultra-thick, premium matte black glass bottle adorned with a tarnished metal X and a silver screen-printed map of the Caribbean on the back. The bottle is crowned with our rustic, oversized Bumbu cork stopper, opening with a "pop" like in the heyday of piracy.
A 40 proof rum, BUMBU XO offers a new experience, a rum with character, to be enjoyed neat for connoisseurs or with an excellent cigar, but which also works perfectly in cocktails.
