This single malt comes straight from the island of Islay, courtesy of Bowmore. Distilled in 2001, this single cask spent 7 years maturing in bourbon hogsheads, followed by 16 years in a former Port cask. This distinctive ageing imparts smoky and fruity aromas of sweet peat, cherry, and cocoa.
