Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is the founder. Its philosophy is quality, fun and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side is reflected both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings, which feature the sponge character in a wide variety of ways.
These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as the Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium and NAS. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, Whiskyland, Decadent Drams, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge and WineSponge.

Nose : Depth of black fruits, jam, rich earth, tobacco, toasted nuts, with subtle medicinal touches and a hint of peppery peat.
Palate : Dominated by sweet black fruits, woody spices, sweet earthy smoke, camphor, with hints of juniper and sultana.
Overall : Medium-bodied, with lingering black fruit and rancio.
