Nose : Refined, distinguished. The complex first nose reveals notes of forest floor (truffle), pineapple, vanilla, walnut, green liquorice and cinnamon. Allowed to breathe, heady (iris, jasmine, lily), medicinal (benzoin) and camphoric fragrances bring depth to the aroma palette.

Appearance : Jaune doré soutenu.

Palate : Both lively and smooth. Revealing tangy notes of candied lemon and honey flavours (acacia, lime blossom), the attack is also full of stunning malty depth. On the mid-palate, fresh fruits (pineapple, Mirabelle plum) release their delicious syrupy juices.

Overall : Long, silky. The balsamic (thuja), lush and bright finish is like a forest under the day’s final rays of light, followed by a sweet sauternes wine (botrytized grape). Finally, a delicious malty bitterness brings freshness to the finish.
