ARRAN 25 ans

Arran 25 Year Old is the oldest permanent bottling from the independent distillery on the Isle of Arran to date.

This expression, bottled without chill filtration or the addition of colouring, is the result of a blend of 65% ex-bourbon casks and 35% ex-oloroso sherry casks filled in 1995. The blend was then matured for 12 months in first and second fill sherry hogshead casks.

The venerable age of this whiskey is noticeable at every stage of tasting. The nose, very sherry, offers woody and gourmet aromas. The mouth, rich and fruity, develops complex notes of citrus fruits, honey, spices and dried fruits. The finish, all in length, reinforces the creamy and greedy character of this superb expression, not to be missed under any circumstances.
