3S 2016 YAMATOZAKURA Beni-Imo

Beni-imo 2016 comes from the Yamatozakura distillery located by the sea, on volcanic land in the historic heart of the sweet potato production area of Kagoshima Prefecture. The koji that serves as the basis for fermentation in century-old jars is prepared by hand, using local rice, before the addition of sweet potatoes grown in the same prefecture. A single slow distillation in an authentic still faithfully reflects this raw material, whose expression is softened by over 5 years of maturation in vats.
3S, SUPER SHOCHU SPIRITS, is a premium shochu brand working with a selection of distillers, all of whom are true craftsmen of shochu production.
