SINGLETON
The Singleton of Dufftown was born in Speyside, a region considered to be the birthplace of Scottish distillation. The distillery was founded in 1896, in the town of Dufftown. Since its creation, it has used the best local spring, known as “Highlandman John’s well”, for the production of its whiskies. The Singleton is matured predominately in European oak casks that have been previously used for ageing sherry. This gives the whisky increased depth and more intense aromas. The time and care put into fermenting and distilling this single malt result in a naturally rich, deliciously unctuous and perfectly balanced whisky.
