HEAVEN HILL
Heaven Hill is indisputably the largest independent whiskey producer in the United States. Extremely proud of its roots, it continues to use the same strain of yeasts introduced by Earl Beam in 1935 and produces its whiskey exclusively from the maize grown on the large plains surrounding the distillery. Somewhat uniquely, it also uses the same proportions of grain for the production of all of its straight bourbons, Elijah Craig, Old Fitzgerald and Evan Williams. Alongside Bernheim Original, it has updated a category of whiskey that had long ago disappeared: straight wheat whisky. Find out more
