His Demerara range is a world exclusive selection from Demerara Distillers. This company has bought up a number of now rare heritage stills and keeps them fully functioning. They previously belonged to distilleries attached to sugar plantations and their names refer to their original locations in Dutch Guyana, such as Blairmont, Port Mourant and Diamond. These Demerara rums are unique in that they are the only ones in the world to be matured entirely in situ. With a harsh tropical climate, the angels’ share is at least four times that of European maturations.
